Baylor Bear Boys Invitational ***

We are really looking forward to hosting the Texas Jr. Golf Tour students and their families on September 11th! 

Here is the information/process that will allow the students to register for our special TJGT tours:

1.       Go to http://www.baylor.edu/visit/index.php?id=56555

2.       Complete the form with the student’s information

3.       Select September 11^th as the visit date  (Ignore the information about our regular tour times…we will offer the TJGT special tours at 10:00, 1:00 & 4:00)

4.       In the box labeled “Additional Requests/Info” please enter the following:    “Texas Jr. Golf Tour”and the tour time you plan to attend (10:00, 1:00 or 4:00)

5.       Then, Submit the form to us and we will respond with a confirmation email detailing the directions, etc.

6.       Get ready for a great time at Baylor University!

Presentation will be at the Courtyard Marriott - TJGT Host Hotel - 7pm in the Conference Room

Both are located at Waco Convention Center: Site of Saturday Evening Banquet.

TJGT Rate is $109/night plus tax. TJGT is  also providing for  no extra cost a full breakfast buffet at the hotel in the mornings for up to four people per room that is included in the rate.  The have an omlette stand/ fruit, yogurt, bagels  etc.

Call the hotel directly for reservations and ask for TJGT rate or use code:  TJGC as well.

THE HOTEL IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE WACO CONVENTION CENTER. IT IS A 2 MIN WALK ACROSS THE STREET TO THE BANQUET ON SATURDAY EVENING SEPT. 6TH.

Hilton: Across the street and attached to Waco Convention Center where the Saturday Banquet is located.  TJGT rate: $115/night.  Marriott Courtyard will honor the hot breakfast for everyone staying at the Hilton. There will be sign up list at the Hilton front desk for breakfast.   Just walk over to the Mariott and eat a good hot breakfast for FREE.

Deadline for reservations to secure this rate at Hilton:   Sept 7th.

 TJGT is committed to providing a professional event from top to bottom.  Our attempt to provide such a forum is dependent on donations from our members.  Our desire to provide a professional atmosphere extends to "Food and Beverages" for our tournament participants.  Any donation for lunches/food for players, would be greatly appreciated.

 What yardages can I expect on the TJGT?

Non-Golfweek Ranked/Normal Tournaments

Boys 12-15: 6100-6500 yds 
Boys 16-18: 6500-7100 yds (usually around 6800 yards)  
All Girls:      5600-5900 yds

Golfweek Ranked Tournaments ( One Age Division: Girls 12-18, Boys 12-18)

All Boys: 6800-7200 yds 
All Girls: 5700-6300 yds

What Tee Markers Do These Yardages Represent?

All courses have different color coding for distances. Important to play the distances listed above and READ the INFO SECTION on the individual tournament page.

Why do all girls play the same yardages?

The AJGA awards exemptions to girls in one category: 12-18.
