TJGT Juniors Play Golf For Free at HorseshoeBay!

Horseshoe Bay Resort is pleased to offer the following Horseshoe Bay Resort TJGT Family Value Plan to TJGT Members outside of any TJGT event.  Specific TJGT hotel rates for individual tournaments are listed on each individual tournament page: Hotel Info.

v  10% off any advertised Weekend Package or Guest Room Rate 

v  20% off any advertised Weekday Package or Guest Room Rate 

Plus . . .

v  One TJGT Junior Member may play golf at no charge when accompanied by an adult on a paid round (ala cart or package)

v  TJGT Member Families staying weekdays and wishing to upgrade to a two bedroom Paseo suite may do so at a special upgrade charge of $100 per night – upgrades are based on availability.  Note that pets are allowed in the Paseo suites with a non-refundable $75 pet deposit. 

v  TJGT Members will also receive Spa, Marina, and Retail Discounts, as follows:

o   10% Weekends

o   20% Weekdays

Weekend is defined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday to noon.  Weekdays are defined as Sunday noon through Thursday. 

The TJGT Family Value Plan cannot be combined with any other Horseshoe Bay Resort promotion. 

 TJGT is committed to providing a professional event from top to bottom.  Our attempt to provide such a forum is dependent on donations from our members.  Our desire to provide a professional atmosphere extends to "Food and Beverages" for our tournament participants.  Any donation for lunches/food for players, would be greatly appreciated.

          All participants with this event (to include participants, parents, and related families) that have accommodations at the resort are to receive a 10% discount at any Horseshoe Bay Resort operated restaurant and a 10% discount off the beverage cart prices on snacks, sandwiches, and non-alcohol drinks

·          For TJGT staff, participants, family and guests with Horseshoe Bay Resort accommodations, we will extend a 15% Spa Discount for spa treatments and services

·          For TJGT staff, participants, family and guests with Horseshoe Bay Resort accommodations, we will extend a 20% Retail Discount for use at our Cap Rock, Slick Rock and Whitewater Retail Shops

What yardages can I expect on the TJGT?

Non-Golfweek Ranked/Normal Tournaments

Boys 12-15: 6100-6500 yds 
Boys 16-18: 6500-7100 yds (usually around 6800 yards)  
All Girls:      5600-5900 yds

Golfweek Ranked Tournaments ( One Age Division: Girls 12-18, Boys 12-18)

All Boys: 6800-7200 yds 
All Girls: 5700-6300 yds

All courses have different color coding for distances. Important to play the distances listed above and READ the INFO SECTION on the individual tournament page.

Why do all girls play the same yardages?

The AJGA awards exemptions to girls in one category: 12-18.
