Course Description

A magnificent piece of property, rich in history and natural beauty has been crafted by Tim Nugent and David Ogrin into a truly diverse and extraordinary course. Shot values are emphasized by creating a variety of angles of play and utilizing the natural obstacles throughout the course.

The Forest Loop:
The first six holes wind across natural ravines and through a forest of majestic oaks and towering pine trees, reminiscent of some of the great traditional golf courses in the Houston area.

The Pine Barrens Loop:
Routed across the upper ridge lines of the property on land once mined for iron ore, these six holes feature large fairway landing areas, sweeping greens and native grass waste areas that invoke images of the pine forested golf courses in the eastern United States.

The Signature Loop:
The finishing loop of holes offers a combination of elevation changes, deep woods and native areas that provide one of the area's most scenic and dramatic finishes. The elevated eighteenth green, fronted by a creek and protected by an imposing rock wall, provides a spectacular finishing hole.

View Larger Map	Traveling north (from the Houston area) take Hwy. 249 seven and a half miles north of the intersection of 249 & 2920. (Note that 249 turns into 1774 as it narrows into a two-lane road about 1/4 mile before you reach High Meadow Ranch.)You?ll see the large "Texas Size" sign at the entrance to High Meadow Ranch on the left. Proceed into the subdivision, turn right at the first cross street, follow for about two miles to the large entry sign to the golf course where you?ll turn right. Proceed 1/4 mile to the entrance that will be on the left. Traveling west (from I45 or The Woodlands) take Hwy. 1488 west to Hwy. 149 south (left). Follow 149 south to the intersection of 1774 where you?ll turn right. Proceed just over 1/4 mile where you?ll see the large "Texas Size" sign at the entrance to High Meadow Ranch on the left. Proceed into the subdivision, turn right at the first cross street, follow for about two miles to the large entry sign to the golf course where you?ll turn right. Proceed 1/4 mile to the entrance that will be on the left. Traveling from between Houston and The Woodlands it?s best to take Hwy. 2920 west to Hwy 249 north (left). Then take Hwy. 249 seven and a half miles north of the intersection of 249 & 2920.
