According to The Traditionns Golf Staff 50 spectator carts will be available for the Dec. 1-2 Traditions Tournament.  Cars will be $17 per rider.  If you are by yourself it will be $17.  If two are riding it will be $34.  We are looking forward to an awesome tournament.

Directions from Host Hotel Ameisuites/Hawthorn to Zone Club at Kyle Field
(Texas A&M Football Stadium)

Directions from AmeriSuites:

Exit left from hotel onto University Drive and travel west to Texas Avenue.

Take left onto Texas Avenue and travel south to George Bush Drive.

Take right onto George Bush Drive and travel west to Wellborn Road (Kyle Field Stadium will be on right).

Take right onto Wellborn and travel north past construction site on right to Kyle Field parking lot (Kyle Field Stadium will be on right).

Take right into Kyle Field Stadium parking lot and park in upper left corner of parking lot.

Walk around stadium to the left to the front of the Zone and enter the double glass doors marked 12^th Man foundation.

There will be a High School Football Playoff game Saturday evening so parking will a little more difficult.  Please walk around the stadium and a security gaurd will let you in the doors up to the Zone Club.

Practice Rounds:  A player does not have to play the Jr. Am on Friday afternonn to have a practice round. We would certainly appreciate if the player would strongly consider playing the jr. am. It would be a great experience and the jr. am helps raise the financial support to have such a great event and tournament gifts, banquet, lunches etc. for the players. One junior will be paired with three jr. am players in a scramble.

Jr. Am Participants & Juniors  dinner  will be free and we will have a Question & Answer period with Texas A&M coaches and College Bound Membership Director, Coach Jeff Mitchell at the jr. am reception dinner.  Juniors green fee playing in jr. am is free.

The Friday night BBCUE is open to all participants and is free whether you play in jr. am or not.  Start time: 6 pm.

If a player plays the jr. am. there is NO Green Fee charge for the junior.


Practice Rounds outside the Jr. Am or for morning shotgun: Plz pay at the pro shop.

  Plz realize the Texas/Texas A&M Game is at College Station this year. The course will not be allowing practice rounds the week prior unless you book early or happen to find an open time. Space available basis only. Out of TJGT's control.

There will be a shotgun start apx. 8 am on friday for all juniors not playing in jr. am.  Play will cease at 11:45 to gather carts for Jr. am.

The Jr. Am will have first priority. If players in the morning shotgun want to continue walking up until the 12:45 shotgun start they may do so, but must cease play once the jr. am shotgun starts. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

IE: Players riding in shotgun start will be required to stop play and turn in their carts apx. 11: 30 and they can continue to play until the jr. am shotgun start. plz plan accordingly. 

  PLEASE CONTACT MR. BOBBY MINOR TO PLAY IN THE JR. AM OR PURCHASE A TEAM TO SUPPORT THE TJGT. Individual team and full team prices will be posted on the tour info page and tjgt.com website.   Great time to play a superb course and enjoy the evening BBCUE.

MR. MINOR WILL ALSO TAKE NAMES FOR THE MORNING SHOTGUN FOR PRACTICE ROUNDS.

Course Set-UP:  This is Golfweek ranked tournament.

Per standard TJGT Golfweek events: All Boys will play apx. 6800-7000yds.  All girls will play apx. 5800-6100 yds.  Yardages will vary somewhat due to local weather conditions on tournament weekend.  Practice rounds should be played corresponding to these yardages.

Saturday, Dec. 1 we will have tee times off of #1 and #10 beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 2 we will have a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. 

Sunday Devotion will be in the Traditions Grille and begin at 8:15 a.m.
