HOST HOTEL: MARRIOTT @ SUGARLAND TOWN SQUARE.

THIS FACILITY IS THE TOP RATED HOTEL IN THE REGION. THE MARIOTT HAS AGREED TO EXTEND TJGT TOURNAMENT MEMBERS SINGLE OR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY @ $109 PLUS TAX PER NIGHT.  THE NORMAL RATE IS $259 PER NIGHT.  THERE ARE ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF ROOMS SO PLEASE DO NOT WAIT.  THE INITIAL ROOM BLOCK IS FOR ONLY 20 ROOMS. IF THE 20 ROOMS ARE FILLED THEN THE MARIOTT WILL OPEN OPEN UP MORE BLOCKS OF ROOMS.

TJGT WILL MONITOR CLOSELY THE ROOM COUNT AND REQUEST MORE ROOMS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHEN THE ROOM BLOCKS ARE CLOSE TO BEING FILLED.  THE PROPERTY AGAIN IN THE PREMIER HOTEL PROPERTY CLOSET TO THE COURSE.

IF YOU WISH TO STAY AT AN ADDITIONAL SITE THERE ARE SEVERAL HOTELS IN THE AREA SUCH AS HAMPTON, LA QUINTA ETC.  TJGT DOES NOT HAVE A SPEICAL RATE FOR THESE. USE OF ANY AAA, MILITARY, AARP DISCOUNTS ALWAYS APPLY.

Method of Reservation:

Reservations for the Event will be made by individual call-in directly with Hotel at (281) 275-8400 or Marriott reservations at (800)228-9290 prior to the Cut-Off Date.

All guests should identify themselves as a member of the “Texas Junior Golf Tour” group in order to obtain the Organization’s rate. Hotel will accept reservations for the group beyond what is outlined in this Agreement only on a space-and rate-available basis.

Guaranteed Reservations:

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card or by Organization. Hotel will not hold any reservation after 6:00 p.m. unless secured by one of the above methods.  In the event a guest wishes to cancel a reservation, the deposit is refundable if notice is received before 48 hours prior to the day of arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. 

Failure to notify Hotel of cancellation of a guaranteed reservation prior to 6:00 p.m. day of arrival will result in a no-show bill in the amount of one night’s room and tax charges.  The remaining nights of the stay will automatically be cancelled.  No-shows will be billed to the individual credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

Billing Arrangements:

Individuals will pay their own charges (guest room, tax, and incidentals).  Hotel policy requires a credit card imprint upon check-in for individual charges.  If the guest does not have a major credit card, a full cash deposit (room, tax, and/or incidental charge deposit) will be required at check-in.

In addition to the special guest room rates outlined, all Hotel guests attending the Texas Junior Golf Tour are sure to enjoy the following special services while staying at our Sugar Land Marriott Town Square . . .

·         Complimentary in-room coffee and tea

·         Complimentary use of our Health Club facilityes, featuring state-of-the-art exercise equipment

·         Complimentary use of our large outdoor pool, spacious sundeck and spa whirlpool

·         In-room pay movies and Sony Playstation

·         Marriott’s “Wired for Business” service offering high-speed internet access, local and long distance calls for one daily price

Houstonian Food Sponsors Needed.

TJGT Staff is still looking for sponsors to defer the cost of participants food cost.  Banquet meal, player lunches each day, bottled water for players/staff.

TJGT appreicates all the generosity of its members and goes to great lenghts to miminize the cost of each tournament specifically the Invitationals.

The donations received will go directly to pay for the cost of players meals for the Houstonian Tournament.

The Houstonian has significantlydecreased their food & beverage costs in order to provide a first class event similar to an AJGA Invitational. All gifts are tax deductible.

Any amount is so much appreciated to provide a quality experenience for each participant. Thank You once again from the TJGT Staff.
