Traditions Invitational  Schedule of Events

Friday:  Dec: 5th :  Practice Round Shotgun: Apx. 8:00 AM (Frost Delay Possible)

& 12:30.  Both Shotgun starts.

PLAYERS & GUESTS ARRIVE ATLEAST 30 MINS EARLY TO SIGN UP IN THE PRO SHOP. THE TRADTIONS PRO SHOP WILL ASSIGN HOLES AND RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR THE ROUND.  THIS IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.  WHATEVER TIME SHOTGUN TIME YOU PICK, JUST SHOW UP EARLY TO THE PRO SHOP AND TRADITIONS WILL ASSIGN YOU A HOLE TO START ON AFTER PAYMENT FOR THE GREEN FEE/CART.

 
The Jr. Am on Friday has been switched to TWO Shotgun Starts for Practice Rounds on Friday.  0800 & 12:30.  Traditions Club will open the practice rounds to players and any guest/parent/ friend.  That is, guests may play the round with any junior. This is a great opportunity to bring your family/friends/ business associates. TJGT wants to make this a fun & family centered event.   Cost includes Cart.  Juniors $40,  Adults/Guests $65. PLZ SHOW UP A MINIMUM OF 30 MINS EARLY TO MAKE PAYMENT AND GET HOLE ASSIGNMENTS IN PRO SHOP.

The afternoon practice round will be followed by a unbelievable BBCUE  APX. 5:45 followed by a college coach Q & A inside the large Traditions Cart Barn.  The Davis Family, longtime Aggies and TJGT Board Members have brought the house down the last two years with their BBCUE dinner.  Trust me, the meat falls off the ribs. 

Special Treat:  Free Tickets to Nationally Televised Basketball Game Friday NIght:  TJGT & Texas A & M will also provide free basketball tickets to the nationally televised game starting @ 8:30 pm between Univ. of Florida & Texas A & M. There are no cost to the tickets and tickets will be distributed on a first come basis per sign up at the pro shop starting Friday morning. There will be an apx. block of 150 tickets.  We should finish the BBCUE and Q & A session NLT 8 PM to allow anyone to attend the game.

Cost for BBCUE Dinner:  $5 per person.  (This is to cover only the drinks & clean up)

A college Coach Q & A will be held during the BBCUE. Live college coaches will be there to answer any questions about college golf.

THE FRIDAY NIGHT BBCUE AT THE GOLF COURSE WILL START APX. 5:45 PM located at the Traditions Cart Barn.  

Saturday: Dec 6th    First Tee Times @  0800:  Double Tee Start      

Banquet: Zone Club above Kyle Field:  Mandatory for all Players: No exceptions

Program Speakers:  Speaker Change: Mr Troy Bassham of Mental Management, World and National Champion and son of Lanny Bassham, Olympic Golf Medalist will be sharing the incredible "Freedom Flight Story"

The Traditions @ A &M Invitational is a top ranked TJGT event that draws players from several states and countries. The past two years, this tournament has been one of the highest ranked Non-AJGA events in the USA. The tournament has been in the top 40 of all Golfweek ranked events and seen numerous AJGA All-Americans and Canon Cup Players participate.  For the most part, High School Golf is completed at this time and the strength of field is very, very strong as their is a long waiting list.

TJGT conducts a Jr. Am Fundraiser on Friday afternoon that allows parents or any business to purchase a team in a scramble format and play with some top juniors in the tournament.  TJGT will provide an incredible BBCUE evening on friday night at no cost to all players and parents and conduct another very popular College Coach Question & Answer evening.

After Play on Satuday, TJGT will host a tourament banquet in the plush Zone Club at Kyle Field. The Zone Club sits high above the football stadium and makes for a great atmosphere for the tournament banquet.  Players meals are included within the tournament fee and spectators pay a small fee to cover the food costs only. 

Players will received incredible tee gifts from Nike Golf and a special Electronic gift at the banquet if they attend.

Finally, College Golf has completed for the year and as many as 20 -25 college coaches attend this event each year.
