PRACTICE ROUNDS/ COURSE SET - UP Update as of 12/10/08

COST: FROM DEC 1-20, PRACTICE ROUNDS ARE $50 PER PLAYER. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A CART FEE. IE. WALKING. 

            FROM DEC 21-27  PRACTICE ROUNDS ARE $25 PER PLAYER: DOES NOT INCLUDE CART FEE.

 
YOU MAY BOOK PRACTICE ROUNDS THRU THE BARTON CREEK GOLF LINE @ 512-329-4653  Ext: 3  Practice rounds can only be booked in advance up to one week in advance to Dec 28th. Ie. Barton Creek will not accept tee time request until one week prior. Very Important.

TJGT recommends if at all possible coming in early to play practice round.  Saturday the 27th is a very busy day so please plan ahead.  Practice round bookings/tee times are the sole responsibility of the parent/player.  

ONCE AGAIN:    TJGT DOES NOT CONTROL PRACTICE ROUNDS.  PLZ BOOK AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

REMEMBER BOYS 16-18 WILL PLAY THE BACK TEES APX. 6800 YDS ON THE CRENSHAW COURSE.   ALL GIRLS AND BOYS 12-15 WILL PLAY THE TEE MARKERS  (WHITE TEE) ON THE FAZIO FOOTHILLS CLOSE TO 6000 YDS PER THE FAQ SECTION OF THE WEBSITE.

IMPORTANT:  RANGE PRACTICE AFTER ROUNDS: THE RANGE WILL BE CLOSED FOR ANY PRACTICE ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR WARMUP FOR TOURNAMENT PLAY EACH DAY. THIS MEANS, YOU CANNOT RETURN TO THE RANGE AFTER YOUR ROUND TO PRACTICE. ONLY THE CHIPPING AND PUTTING GREENS WILL BE OPEN.  IF YOU WANT TO PRACTICE AFTER YOUR ROUND, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GO OFF CAMPUS.  THIS IS TO ALLOW BARTON CREEK TO PICK THE RANGES IN ORDER TO HAVE ENOUGH RANGE BALLS EACH MORNING TO WARM-UP.   ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS TAKE NOTE.  THEIR IS NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.

All Boys 16-18 and younger boys playing up will be on the Crenshaw Cliffside Course All Three Days.

Boys 16-18 Champion = 2 Tournament Exemptions
Boys 16-18 Top 5 = 1 Tournament Exemptions
Boys 16-18 Top 10 = 1 Performance Star

All Girls 12-15, 16-18 & Boys 12-15 will be on the Fazio Foothills Course All Three Days

Boys 12-15 Top 3 & Ties   - AJGA  Junior All-Star Series Fully Exempt Status

Girls 12-18 Champion = 2 Tournament Exemptions
Girls 12-18 Top 3 = 1 Tournament Exemption
Girls 12-18 Top 5 = 1 Performance Star

Elite Mini-Tour   ( Age Divsions: Boys/Girls 8-9, 10-11, 12-13)

Mini-Tour Players will be at The Hills of Lakeway Course apx. 10 min from Barton Creek All Three Days.

Boys/Girls 12/13 Champion = 1 AJGA Junior All-Star Exemption
